Pi tapes,also known as Diameter tapes provide a quick, accurate and easy method of reading true diameters of round parts and average diameter of out-of-round forms —— outside or inside，large or small.
As per our client request，the π tape or Diameter Vernier tape can be calibrated by Third-party detection institution.
π Tape / Diameter Tape
Pi tapes or Diameter Vernier tapes，due to their exceptional design, the diameter can be got by the circumference, the error of measure result is 1/π less compared to traditional Vernier calipers, ensuring more accurate results.

Measuring range from Ø50mm / 2” to Ø9600mm /384” （larger size tape available upon request.
Made of stainless steel 301 or spring steel 65Mn.
These Pi tapes or diameter tapes are meticulously designed and constructed using a high-quality 12mm (0.48") wide steel ribbon, ensuring durability and accuracy in measurement. The standard thickness of the material employed for these tapes is 0.25mm (0.010").
There are two distinct categories of diameter Vernier tapes, based on their size:
1. For tapes with a diameter less than or equal to 500mm, the width of the Main Scale Part and the Vernier Part is 6mm (0.24").
2. For tapes with a diameter greater than 500mm, the width of the Main Scale Part and the Vernier Part is 8.5mm (0.34").
